For residents’ associations

Curated by the people who know the neighborhood.

The association sets criteria for its area and can block drivers, with a recorded reason. Voltinha verifies the drivers, operates the platform and is accountable for it. At no cost to the association.

What the association controls

A say over who serves your community.

Area criteria

Extra rules for the drivers who serve the community, such as a minimum time on the platform or a minimum rating. They are public in the app and apply to everyone.

Blocking with a reason

The association blocks a driver in its area for safety, conduct or complaints. The driver is notified and can appeal to Voltinha.

Residents’ complaints

Incidents in the area reach the association’s dashboard, and they also go to Voltinha’s support team.

Pickup points

Gatehouses, the club and stopping spots in the area, suggested to residents in the app.

Association dashboard

Everything about your area in one place.

Drivers who serve the community, published criteria, blocks with their history and complaints to follow up on.

The streets in the region are public: the association does not control who drives around. A block applies to receiving Voltinha rides in that association’s area.

How it starts

Partnership in four steps.

  1. 1

    A conversation with the board

How it works, the dashboard and the blocking rules.

  2. 2

    Area and criteria

The community’s boundaries on the map, the pickup points and any extra criteria.

  3. 3

    Notice to residents

A ready-made announcement for the association to send through its own channels.

  4. 4

    Follow-up

A monthly conversation about what is working and what to improve.

Questions from the board

What boards usually ask.

Does the association pay anything?

No. Voltinha earns a commission on each ride, paid by the passenger in the app.

Is the association responsible for the rides?

Operations belong to Voltinha, with verified independent drivers. The association takes part in curation, not in operations.

Can we stop someone from driving around the community?

Not through Voltinha: the streets are public. What the association can do is block a driver from receiving Voltinha rides in its area.

How do you prevent unfair blocks?

Every block has a reason from a closed list and a recorded note. The driver is notified and can appeal to Voltinha, which reviews the case.

What about residents’ data?

Voltinha is the data controller under the LGPD, Brazil’s data protection law. The association only sees what it needs for its area: drivers, incidents and indicators. Never a resident’s ride history.

Does your association want to partner with us?
